Female body drawing class in Kunsthaus II

Join a female body drawing class II in Kunsthaus Zurich.
This class is a part of the drawing course “Master the sketch of the feminine body“. The next class on the feminine body will be on 10th June 2020.
We will learn how to draw a feminine body and practice it from the painting of Mattia Preti – a baroque Italian painter who painted in the style of Caravaggio.
When drawing female or woman, you have to keep in mind their body language, gesture, and movement. You have to find what make them feminine, how female stand or sit or lay.
We will learn this during the class and we will make 2 sketches of two different woman poses from the painting.
We will focus on how to:
- draw the female anatomy from the torso, pelvis to legs
- apply proportions to draw a feminine body
- draw a body from an angle
- shade the drawing to gain depth, light & shadow
technique: pencil and dry pastel on paper
